Bridgeport Resident Abraham Martinez Dies in Motorcycle Crash

Bridgeport, CT – The community is mourning the loss of Abraham Martinez, a well-known biker and resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident. Martinez’s untimely death occurred on Wednesday evening following a crash on Route 25, according to Connecticut State Police. He was identified as the 43-year-old motorcyclist from Naugatuck involved in the fatal accident. Authorities reported that Martinez was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSXR1000 southbound near Exit 6 on Route 25 when he was struck from behind by a 2007 Honda Accord EX at approximately 11:20 p.m.

The collision caused Martinez to be ejected from his motorcycle. Emergency crews arrived promptly and transported him to St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Despite their efforts, Martinez succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Honda Accord did not report any injuries.
