      Oliver Ziehn was not only a beloved husband but also a distinguished professional in his own right. Originally from Berlin, Germany, he was an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background. Oliver graduated from Beethoven-Gymnasium School and went on to earn a BSc in Economics from London City University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Media Studies from UCLA.

      Professionally, Oliver served as a Director at Lintstock Ltd, located on the 6th Floor of 2 London Wall Place. Known for his creativity and strategic thinking, he possessed exceptional interpersonal and networking skills. His sudden passing has left a significant void in both his personal and professional circles.

      Rebecca Lowthorpe, Oliver’s widow, is a prominent figure in the fashion journalism industry. She has had an illustrious career, having served as fashion director of Grazia from 2016 to 2019 and fashion features director of British ELLE from 2004 to 2015. Rebecca’s career began at the Independent and the Independent on Sunday, where she served as fashion editor. She holds a first-class BA Hons degree in Fashion Communication and Promotion from Central Saint Martins, earned in 1993.

      Rebecca has contributed to numerous prestigious publications, including Sunday Times Style, Style.com, Vogue Japan, US Harper’s Bazaar, and Pop. She has been nominated twice for the PPA Writer of the Year Award. In addition to her journalistic work, Rebecca advises various brands and personalities, including Karen Millen and Hussein Chalayan. She contributed an essay to Chalayan’s book, “Hussein Chalayan,” published by Rizzoli in 2011. Rebecca also serves as the external assessor for womenswear at the Royal College of Art.
