      19-Year-Old Chauncory Farmer Identified as Victim killed in Southeast Charlotte Shooting

      Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified 19-year-old Chauncory Farmer as the victim killed in a shooting that took place in southeast Charlotte in the early hours of Sunday, September 15. The tragic incident left one dead and two others seriously injured, with police still investigating the circumstances.

      The shooting occurred at around 1:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Hollow Drive, near Monroe Road. Authorities reported that the residence where the shooting took place had been rented for an event. When officers arrived at the scene, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds. All three were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
