      Man Found Fatally Shot in Northeast D.C. Identified as Dashane Judd

      Authorities in Washington, D.C., are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found early Thursday morning in the Northeast neighborhood. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Dashane Judd, who had no fixed address, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

      Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Benning Road, Northeast, at approximately 6:17 a.m. on November 14 after receiving reports of an unconscious person. When officers arrived, they discovered Judd unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

      Emergency medical personnel from DC Fire and EMS arrived shortly after and determined that Judd showed no signs of life. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transported for further examination, and authorities are working to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.

      Investigators are actively canvassing the area for evidence and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby buildings and traffic cameras. At this time, no suspects have been named, and police have not disclosed details about a possible motive. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
