Stockton Police Identify Victim in Weston Ranch Shooting

Stockton police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday in the Weston Ranch neighborhood. The victim, identified as 57-year-old Charles Alexander of Stockton, was found unresponsive after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. This marks the city’s 35th homicide of 2024, according to the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers responded to a call around 12:15 a.m. on the 900 block of Henry Long Boulevard, where they discovered Alexander. Emergency personnel quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts to save his life, Alexander was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
