      Fatal Bicycle Crash in Hebron Claims Life of 38-Year-Old Cui Lin

      Hebron, CT – Tragedy struck in Hebron on Sunday afternoon as a bicyclist involved in a serious crash succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred on Route 316 at approximately 1 p.m., following a distressing discovery by a passerby.

      According to the Connecticut State Police, the initial report came in after a cyclist’s bicycle was spotted near a guardrail and a man was found in the adjacent woods. The injured bicyclist, identified as 38-year-old Cui Lin from Simsbury, had sustained a severe leg injury. The passerby, who came across the scene, applied a tourniquet to Lin’s leg in a desperate attempt to stem the bleeding before seeking further assistance.

      Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly thereafter and transported Lin to Windham Hospital for urgent medical care. Despite these efforts, Lin sadly passed away from his injuries.
