      NATCHEZ, Miss. — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Dambrelle Thomas in Natchez. The incident took place just after 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 8th, in the 1100 block of George F. West Boulevard. Thomas was pronounced deceased at the scene after suffering gunshot wounds to her upper chest and arms.

      According to Natchez Police Commander Jerry Ford, the shooting followed a prior altercation at the residence between the teenage suspect and a man.
