      Clarksville Woman Arrested in Connection with New Albany Homicide

      A 26-year-old woman from Clarksville has been arrested in connection with the homicide of a man found dead in his New Albany residence late Tuesday night. Indiana State Police Sgt. Carey Huls reported that authorities encountered Tirzah Catherine Linson of Clarksville, Ind., outside the Meijer store on Allison Lane in Jeffersonville on Tuesday evening. Officers responded to a call regarding a potentially suicidal female and determined, after speaking with Linson, that it was necessary to investigate a residence in New Albany.

      Following this interaction, Jeffersonville Police contacted the New Albany Police Department to conduct a welfare check at a residence in the 800 block of East 11th Street around 8:15 p.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the body of 68-year-old Gary D.
