      Tragic Collision in Buffalo County Claims Life of Jacob A. Kimberly

      Pleasanton, NE – A fatal collision involving two vehicles led to the death of an adult male driver early Saturday morning. The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident, which occurred around 1:26 a.m. on July 27, 2024.

      According to initial reports, a 2024 ambulance was traveling south on US Highway 10, just north of Pleasanton, Nebraska, while transporting a patient to Kearney. Following the ambulance was a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 29-year-old Jacob A. Kimberly from Holdrege, Nebraska.

      The collision occurred when the ambulance slowed down to rendezvous with another dispatched ambulance. Unable to react in time, Kimberly’s motorcycle crashed into the rear of the ambulance. Tragically, Jacob A. Kimberly was pronounced dead at the scene due to the impact.
