Son of Montgomery Pastor Dies in Apparent Suicide at Age 21 – GoFundMe

Montgomery, NY – The community of the Amazing Grace Apostolic Church is grieving after the tragic loss of Josiah Dottin, the 21-year-old son of Pastor Danny Dottin and Lady Christine Dottin. Josiah passed away from an apparent suicide on Saturday, August 3, 2024. His body was recovered from the Hudson River on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred when Josiah reportedly jumped from the mid-span of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. He was a resident of Montgomery. State Police confirmed that the body of the young man was located by the State Police Underwater Recovery Team around 2:25 p.m. on Sunday.

But we submit to God in this tragic situation. And we trust that he knows all things and will activate the revelation of this moment! Please keep the Dottin family and all of us who are connected and family in fervent prayer! Even through tears, our faith is still intact.”
