Mansfield High School Mourns the Tragic Loss of Lainey Homesley in ATV Accident

The Mansfield High School community is reeling from the tragic death of Lainey Homesley, a beloved student who died in an ATV accident on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Lainey, a resident of Mansfield, Texas, was known for her vibrant personality and love for life, making her sudden passing a devastating blow to her family, friends, and school community.

Lainey’s family, including Kendall Loomis, is heartbroken and deeply saddened by her loss. Kendall shared a heartfelt message: “As many know, we lost our sweet Lainey on July 4th in a tragic accident. She was the light in every room she entered, and our hearts are forever shattered. Please share this with anyone who loved her!” Lainey was remembered as a wonderful girl who embraced life fully and had a passion for fast cars.

A Celebration of Life will take place on July 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by the burial at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road.
