20-Year-Old Mah’ki Cutler Identified as Victim killed in Deadly Miami Gardens Shooting

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) — A targeted shooting in Miami Gardens has left 20-year-old Mah’ki Cutler dead and another man critically injured, while three juveniles who were in the back seat of the targeted vehicle were unharmed. The incident occurred on Sunday, around 8:40 p.m., in the area of Northwest 183rd Street and 45th Avenue, police reported.

According to authorities, the victims were returning from a party when they realized they were being followed. Miami Gardens Police Officer Diana Delgado-Gourgue stated that the suspect followed Cutler’s car and then opened fire, causing the deadly incident.

Cutler, who was driving the car, was fatally shot in what police have described as a deliberate attack. The passenger, who was also shot multiple times, managed to escape the vehicle and ran to a nearby McDonald’s to seek help. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but has since been stabilized.

In the back seat of the car were three juveniles, all of whom were miraculously unharmed. According to police, one of the teens is related to Cutler, while the other two are related to the surviving victim. The identities of the juveniles have not been released due to their age.
