Two Killed, Three Injured in Early Morning Minneapolis Shooting

Minneapolis police are investigating a deadly shooting that left two people dead and three others injured in the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident took place near the intersection of 5th Street and Hennepin Avenue, where officers responded to a reported fight in the area.

As police arrived at the scene, they heard gunshots and found five individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately provided medical aid before all five victims were transported to local hospitals. Unfortunately, two adult males succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The three other victims, two juvenile females and one adult female, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They remain hospitalized but are expected to recover.
