HIGH POINT, NC — Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 33-year-old man, identified as Michael L. Isaac Jr., in High Point on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 5:48 p.m. near the intersection of West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Oakwood Street, where first responders discovered Isaac deceased in the roadway.

According to the High Point Police Department, Isaac was riding his bicycle in the travel lane of West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when a vehicle struck him.
