Motorcyclist Killed in Sycamore Crash Identified as 26-Year-Old Nicholas Cummings

SYCAMORE, Ill. – A tragic crash in Sycamore on Friday night claimed the life of 26-year-old motorcyclist Nicholas Cummings. The fatal collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Woodgate Drive, according to local authorities.

Cummings was riding his 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on DeKalb Avenue when he collided with a 2010 Chevrolet. The Chevrolet, traveling southbound, was attempting to make a left turn onto Woodgate Drive at the time of the accident. The impact of the collision left Cummings with severe injuries.
