      24-Year-Old Tanysha Thomas Tragically Killed in Batavia Car Accident

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m., when the Genesee County Emergency Dispatch Center received reports of downed power lines on Creek Road, just outside the city limits. Responding to the call, the Batavia Fire Department and Batavia Police Department arrived at the scene to find a power pole blocking the roadway and an overturned vehicle in flames down an embankment in a wooded area to the east of Creek Road.
